Microsoft Bookings - Personal Bookings

Personal Bookings is a feature within Microsoft Bookings that allow you to create and manage personal meetings. While you need a Bookings license to set up a Personal Bookings page, anyone–including those without a Microsoft account–can schedule time with you.

Accessing Personal Bookings

  • Web Access – Visit book.ms and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  • Outlook and Teams Integration – Add the Bookings app to the left rail in Outlook or Microsoft Teams for quick access. Once on the home page, navigate to the section labeled “Personal booking page.”

Creating a New Meeting

To start, go to the Personal booking page section on the home page and select Create meeting type.

  1. Meeting type – When create a meeting type, it appears as a public meeting on your personal booking page. To share a private meeting, send the link directly to the intended recipients. To edit a meeting type, click the ellipsis (…) on the tile and select the desired meeting type.
  2. Duration – Set the length of your meeting.
  3. Schedule Customization – Sync your availability with Outlook or customize your availability for each day of the week.
  4. Advanced Options
    • Buffers – Add time before and after meetings for breaks or preparation. Meeting start times can be booked based on conflicts before an available meeting time or when there are no conflicts within the specified buffer after the meeting duration.
    • Limit Start Time To – Define the specific times during an hour when meetings can begin. 
    • Minimum Lead Time – Set how much notice is required before someone can book a meeting.
    • Maximum Lead Time – Set how far advance appointments can be scheduled.

To see what others will experience, click on the Share meeting type on the tile to copy the link. Open a new tab or browser session and paste the link to see the results.
