How to Export and Import Your Web Browser Bookmarks

Google Chrome

At the top-right of the Chrom browser, click More> Bookmarks and lists > Bookmark manager.

At the top, click or More> Export Bookmarks to save your bookmarks as an HTML file that you can use to import into another browser, or More> Import bookmarks if you already have the file.

Microsoft Edge

From the top right-hand corner of Microsoft Edge, select Settings and more (…) > Settings  to open the menu panel.

Select Import browser data.

In the Import from list, select the browser whose data you want to import.

Under Choose what to import, select the specific browser data you want and select Import.

Alternatively, you can export or import your bookmarks by navigating to Settings and more (...) > Favorites> More options (...).

Safari

In the Safari app  on your Mac, choose File > Export > Bookmarks. The exported file is called “Safari Bookmarks.html”.

To import a bookmarks file, choose File > Import From > Bookmarks HTML File, then select the HTML file to import.

Mozilla Firefox

Click the menu button  on your toolbar to open the menu panel.

Click Bookmarks, then the Manage bookmarks bar at the bottom.

In the toolbar of the Library window click Import and Backup and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML… from the drop-down menu.

Choose a location to save the file, then click Save to close the Export Bookmarks File window.

To add bookmarks, choose Import Bookmarks from HTML… to navigate to the bookmarks HTML file you are importing and select the file. Click the Open button to close the Import Bookmarks File window.
