Customize Your Browser’s New Tab Page

When you open a new tab in your browser, you will find frequently visited websites displayed under the search box. To customize these shortcuts or quick links, follow these steps based on your browser:

Customize Links

Adding a shortcut

  1. Click the empty tile labeled “[+] Add shortcut,” enter the web address, and select Add.

Displaying More Options

  1. Hover over the tile until the menu (three dots) appears.
  2. Depending on your browser, you may see options to edit, remove, or pin a shortcut.

Switch Between Shortcuts or Most Visited Sites in Chrome

  1. At the bottom right of the New Tab page, click Customize Chrome 
  2. Under Shortcuts, select My shortcuts or Most visited sites.
  3. To hide shortcuts, toggle off Show shortcuts.

Show or Hide Shortcuts in Edge

  1. Open a new tab and select Page Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner).
  2. Use the Quick links drop-down in the Quick links & search section to select Off to hide the quick links or 2 rows to add more.

Show or Hide Shortcuts in Firefox

  1. Open a new tab and select Personalize new tab (gear icon in the top-right corner).
  2. Toggle Shortcuts off to hide them or use the drop-down to select the number of rows you want.
