Customize Your Browser’s New Tab Page
When you open a new tab in your browser, you will find frequently visited websites displayed under the search box. To customize these shortcuts or quick links, follow these steps based on your browser:
Customize Links
Adding a shortcut
- Click the empty tile labeled “[+] Add shortcut,” enter the web address, and select Add.
Displaying More Options
- Hover over the tile until the menu (three dots) appears.
- Depending on your browser, you may see options to edit, remove, or pin a shortcut.
Switch Between Shortcuts or Most Visited Sites in Chrome
- At the bottom right of the New Tab page, click Customize Chrome
- Under Shortcuts, select My shortcuts or Most visited sites.
- To hide shortcuts, toggle off Show shortcuts.
Show or Hide Shortcuts in Edge
- Open a new tab and select Page Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner).
- Use the Quick links drop-down in the Quick links & search section to select Off to hide the quick links or 2 rows to add more.
Show or Hide Shortcuts in Firefox
- Open a new tab and select Personalize new tab (gear icon in the top-right corner).
- Toggle Shortcuts off to hide them or use the drop-down to select the number of rows you want.
