Managing Windows Notifications

Windows organizes system and app notifications in Action Center (Windows 10) or Notification Center (Windows 11), making them easily accessible directly from the taskbar.

Windows 10

•    To open Action Center, click the Action Center icon on the taskbar or press Windows logo key + A. 
•    If a notification has an arrow to the right, select it to read more or take action, such as replying to a message, without opening the associated app.
•    To dismiss a notification, either drag it off-screen or click the Clear (X) button.

Windows 11

•    To open Notification Center, click the date and time in the taskbar or press Windows logo key + N.
•    Select a notification to view more details or take action.
•    To clear a specific notification, select the X next to it. To clear all notifications, select the Clear all button.
