How to set up Bookings for a one-time event or a specific date range

Bookings allows people to schedule appointments that do not conflict with anything already scheduled on their Outlook Calendar. It is easy to set up a service (booking option) for a one-time event for a day or a date range.

  1. Go to your Bookings dashboard and open a Shared booking page.
  2. Click Services in the left-hand navigation and select the appropriate one for your event, or click (+) Add new service to create a new one. Fill in the Basic details.
  3. Toggle the Default scheduling policy to off.
  4. Click Availability options in the top left, scroll down to General Availability and select Not bookable
  5. Set the start and end date of your event.
  6. Click (+) Set different availability for a date range and set the next field to Custom hours (recurring weekly).
  7. Set the event time on the day of the week on which your event falls.
  8. Click Assign staff in the top left and select staff for the service.
  9. Click the Save changes button.
